So Mister Studly's home. He made it. It's been a few days. I have the hardest time sleeping when he's not here so I'm usually walking around like a zombie but I'm unable to fall asleep until after 1:00 a.m. each night. So last night I think it all caught up with me and by 8:30, I was exhausted. I tried to stay up for a little bit longer but by 9:15, I was in bed. Mister Studly came in a few minutes after me and I hadn't fallen asleep yet. Within 5 minutes, he's snoring. Snoring so loud I can't sleep. Snoring so loud I'm wanting to punch him in the face. But I don't because I'm nice and that would be assault. 3 hours later of literally just tossing and turning listening to the loudest snores he's ever made, I get up and go watch TV. I think I finally fell asleep around 2:30 or 3:00 but it's a very restless sleep because I'm not in my bed and I'm not comfy. Then what do I hear at 5:00 a.m.???? My kids.... playing in their room!!!!!! What the heck??? That NEVER happens!!! NEVER EVER. They are like clock work and always wake up about 7:30. Apparently, G woke up and went into Moma's room, woke her up and asked her to play. When I went in there and tried to get them both back to bed, they weren't having any part of it. G wanted oatmeal. So here I sit, going on like 2 full hours of sleep watching my kids eat oatmeal at 5:00 in the frickin' morning.
I swear I'm going to loose it.

I love it! I can so relate, although if DH is home which is usally only 2 nights a week he will get up. Last DD woke at 2am ready to go (thanks a lot late nap). So here I sit at 8am the only one awake in my house trying to be quiet as a mouse so they don't wake up.
I hope you get some sleep tonight :)
Hmmm...sounds like Daddy owes you a back rub and a NAP!!!
Hang in there and hug your coffee pot!
