Headbands

I made this headband the other day using fabric from a dress from the 70's. It was a sweet dress. 

A "vintage" dress from my Mother In Laws closet.

 If you're as old as I am or maybe a bit older you'll remember Mrs. Roper from the TV show Three's Company. It looked like my Mother in Law swiped it from her closet.

We all know how awesome the styles were in the 70's.... I mean....Polyester and hot pink??? How could you go wrong?? 

I have to say that I love how it turned out after I ripped it to shreds and made this cute headband out of it.  I call it "Cinco De Mayo" because the colors remind me of a Mexican Folkloric Dress.
