While here in Utah visiting family, I got a bug up my butt to do something crafty. This happens a lot while I'm here so my relatives must think I don't do anything but bake, crochet, scrapbook, etc. I brought some stuff with me from home to make some more headbands but I never got to them. I just wanted to try something different.
With my cupcake business... A Party In Your Tummy, I am often hand sculpting cute fondant toppers to place onto cute cupcakes so I thought I would try making some charms out of polymer clay the other day. I figured since I could sculpt with fondant, I could probably be successful with clay as well
.
I ran to the store, picked up a couple different colors and after the kids went to bed, I started messing around with it. I liked what I saw so much that the very next day, I went out bout bought about 10 more colors of clay.
All of my charms have an eyelet so that you can place the charm onto a necklace, charm bracelet, key chain, or cell phone charm!!
Here's what I've been making......
A little tomato pin cushion for all you sewing lovers out there....
I'm in LOVE with this little black tie. I have it up for sale on my Etsy Shop but I think I'm going to make one for myself too!
A couple of lollipops....
A little blue birdie...
A chocolate chip cookie....
A yummy cupcake.....
How about a super rad mustache?...
The angry octopus....
And a sweet yellow rose.... Also available at my Etsy Shop
I've enjoyed making these charms. I've put a few items in my Etsy shop already but the rest and more are coming this week. You can purchase them there.
